1. Introduction

Welcome to TabeebX ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TabeebX telehealth platform — the mobile application and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to hold an account.
  • A parent or legal guardian may manage care for a dependent through their own account, and is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide on that person's behalf.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date. Clinicians rely on it.

3. Your Account

  • Your account is secured by your phone number. Anyone who can receive your verification messages can access your account, so keep your device and SIM secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately at support@tabeebx.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We can end all active sessions on your account.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Use the Service to obtain care for yourself or a dependent you are responsible for — to describe symptoms, book and attend consultations, and manage your medical record.
  • Do not impersonate another person or submit false health information. In a medical context this is dangerous, not merely a breach of these Terms.
  • Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt unauthorized access to it or to another person's record.

5. Health & Medical Disclaimer

TabeebX connects you with licensed clinicians. We are a technology platform and do not ourselves provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The in-app assistant records what you tell it and suggests which specialty may fit. It does not diagnose, does not assess how urgent your situation is, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Any diagnosis in your record is written by a clinician, and is attributed to them.

The Service is not for emergencies. If you believe you are facing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department immediately. Do not wait for a response through the app.

6. Fees, Cancellations & Refunds

  • The fee for a consultation is shown before you confirm a booking. Some consultations are covered by an employer or organization plan, in which case no fee is charged to you.
  • Consultations are paid from your TabeebX wallet balance, held in Iraqi dinars. The app does not collect or store payment card details.
  • You may cancel a booking from the app. For questions about cancellations, refunds, or your wallet balance, contact support@tabeebx.com.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal and health information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy , which forms part of these Terms. It describes what we collect, who processes it, and how long it is kept.

8. Service Availability

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, network conditions, or events outside our control. Planned maintenance will be communicated when feasible. Because the Service can be unavailable, never rely on it in an emergency — see section 5.

9. Closing Your Account & Termination

  • You may close your account at any time from Settings in the app. Doing so ends your access immediately and signs you out on every device.
  • Closing your account does not erase your medical record. Iraqi health-records regulations require that clinical records be retained for a statutory period, and that record is not ours to delete on request. What ends is access to it through your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, or for unlawful or unsafe activity.

10. Liability Limitations

  • Clinicians providing care through TabeebX exercise their own professional judgement. We are not responsible for medical outcomes or for the conduct of individual healthcare providers.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iraq. Exclusive venue and jurisdiction lie in the courts of Baghdad, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date, and continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
